On September 13, 2025, we had the great pleasure of celebrating 25 years of the Chair of Information & Market Engineering. The event brought together alumni, colleagues, and friends to mark a very special milestone: a quarter of a century since Prof. Dr. Christof Weinhardt established and has continuously led the chair.

The program began at midday with a warm welcome and opportunities to reconnect. In the afternoon, our current doctoral researchers presented their ongoing projects to the alumni, which led to engaging discussions and lively exchange between past and present generations of the chair.

For a bit of laughter, we played the IME Pub Quiz, mixing trivia, fun facts and anecdotes from the history of the chair. Afterward, the celebration continued with a festive dinner, live music from a jazz band, and a cheerful evening that invited everyone to enjoy conversations, memories, and a relaxed atmosphere together.

We thank all participants for joining us in celebrating this milestone and for contributing to an inspiring and memorable event. The commitment and engagement of our alumni continue to play a vital role in the success of the chair.
