New AI Grid Network Member: Adrian Wegener

  • We are pleased to announce that Adrian Wegener, research assistant and PhD student at the human-centered systems lab (h-lab) has joined the AI Grid network.AI Grid is an initiative that strengthens collaboration and synergies among young talents in the field of artificial intelligence. The network connects dedicated early-career researchers with leading experts from academia and industry. It currently brings together more than 200 active members and over 100 mentors and AI specialists. The initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology, and Space. Within AI Grid, Adrian contributes to the Micro Focus Groups "Human-Computer Interaction" and "Agent & Cognitive Architectures." The latter focuses on models and systems that emulate and analyze human-like cognition and agency, integrating perception, reasoning, learning, memory, and decision-making into unified architectural frameworks. This collaboration marks an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our engagement in interdisciplinary, human-centered AI research.
