This class covers foundations of Information Systems research, starting with philosophy of science. We proceed with research processes for conducting literature research, behavioral and design science research and talk about proper use of research tools in general, and AI-based tools. Deep dives will be taught on survey research, experimental research, qualitative research and simulations.  In exercises and practical sessions we will train this knowledge (reading and discussion of papers and their strengths and weaknesses, writing an exposé, starting your own literature research).
Im sum, in this class you will learn the basic skills needed for conducting research in Information Systems and writing a research article. This is useful for thesis and seminar papers at the WIN institute.
